Please Help! Nxt Problems

Meg #16 is from the professional line and offers a different final appearance then GC. Extremely clear (does not effect color hue), deep, reflective and glossy look from my short experience with #16. Really compliments NXT and UPP.

What is the difference between #16 and Gold Class Paste?

In addition to what Edwin said, #16 is extremely durable compared to Gold Class....actually very durable to pretty much anything that isn't a sealant!

Check Meguiars site for a professional product distributer in your area. They should have it in stock. #16 is a real sleeper of a product.

Oh well that figures no dealers in my area. Must order online.. Scottwax, how long do you wait before topping NXT? Sorry for asking so many questions.

I found the longer you let NXT dry before removing, the less haze and smearing you get.

About the terry cloth thing. Here is something about Meguiar's new Ultimate Wipe from their website.

"This cloth saves time and effort, but most importantly, it totally eliminates cloth-inflicted streaks, smears and swirls, producing an entirely new level of clear reflection and deep gloss."

If using a terry cloth was such a good option as stated on the bottle, why are they selling this to remove "cloth-inflicted streaks, smears, and swirls."?

Used Meguiars NXT on my Black MINI at the weekend (2nd coat in 2 weeks) and buffed it up with a Megs ultimate wipe and haven't had any hazing appear. Left it on for 30mins before buffing it up.

Reckon NXT is easier to use than the GC Wax IMHO.

Ok, so now here is my question. The pollen is really really bad here so i cannot re wax or QD till after pollen season. I can only wash and this does not take the haze off. Is it going to hurt to leave it on like another month or do i need to take drastic efforts to get it off???

I also found, that using the NXT spray wax after a wash, really keeps the sparkle, and deep shine going. I am really amazed at the look of this sealant. And it does seem to make the little scratches disappear. Gives the car a wet sparkling look. The only issue is still on the durability. But for a great look without spending too much money, this is the way to go.

I have found the NXT sealant at a Midwest auto store called Murray's.

I just picked up some NXT wax the other day, and noticed a little streaking too. I just sprayed a light mist of distilled water and wiped down with a MF. Took care of the streaks easily.

I usually do this as a last step with any wax/sealant. I use an empty Meguiars QD spray bottle to lightly mist the distilled water. 2 or 3 squirts is plenty for a hood.

NXT: After my experience with NXT smearing after washing my truck, I hit it with FD and it looked great, and that's with no prep work. Of course, my truck has been prepped since the day I bought it.

#16: Thanks to Scottwax I purchased #16 and just applied the first coat this morning. I've been a big fan of S100, but was looking for something a little more durable for my paying customers. #16 isn't quit as reflective as S100, but it's a very deep look ... I'm very pleased!

With NXT x 2 and #16 x 1, my truck isn't as bright as some combos I've tried, e.g. Klasse twins + S100, or even VM + S100, but it looks like glass.

Misting with anything when using a sealant *may* disrupt the curing/crosslinking of the sealant. Best to wait at least 24 hours.
