Plastic wheel cover paint options

We have an Accord with the big plastic wheel covers that originally were painted silver to match the body color.
The paint has nearly all vanished over time, leaving a flat, white, plastic base.
I want to paint them but wondered which type of paint would be best to use, or maybe even think about plasti-dip, if it would hold up to the heat.
Would Dupli-color wheel paint work best, followed by several clear coats?
Or, since it`s just plastic wheel covers and not a mag/alloy to be painted, would regular spray paint work as well?

This paint is really good and since it`s an acrylic lacquer, even easier to use.. Wurth German Alloy Silver Wheel Lacquer
The store here also sells the clear coat lacquer for it..

Not sure what shade of silver your wheel covers were.
How about looking on line for the factory wheel cover paint ? ebay ? amazon?

The car is Satin Silver Metallic. The wheel covers, when new, looked like a pretty good match to the body paint. It doesn`t matter if the new paint is a perfect match; I`ve found very close matches in Krylon, Rustoleum, and Duplicolor paints. It just boils down to what type of paint is the best for these plastic dishes.

As they are plastic you may have to use a plastic adhesive/primer before paint, as well having sanded down to bout 400-600 grit and thoroughly cleaned of any grease, wheel cleaners, and grime.
