Plastic Pillars? Help.

Long story short, I wanted to quickly remove bird crap off my exterior plastic pillar using a paper towel and I managed to lighty scratch the surface. It's visible and it bothers me. How do I go about fixing this?

Yep, polish it out with something relatively mild and then coat/LSP with something that'll provide a bit more protection to help with the inevitable next time.  I kinda like many coats of KSG myself, especially on the similar-situation gloss black sideview mirrors on the Tahoe that catch a lot of bugs.

Rupes Keramik Gloss is bulletproof on plastic pillars (and anything plastic), does a better job than anything else I've used.

And please keep paper towels in the kitchen, Nothing good comes of touching your car with processed wood pulp.

Scottwax- That's high praise indeed for the Keramik Gloss!  Thanks for mentioning it, I'm just soooo out-of-date on products these days...

New version of Hyper Polish is really good too, used it today on A7 pillars, came out great.

+1 on HD polish and Keramik.

I have some of the new Hyper Polish and will try it but they always seem so runny that I don't bother.

Scottwax- My experiences with the older Hyper polish/comound were kinda unsatisfactory, but I'll keep in mind that they've updated it.  Thanks for keeping me current!

Plastic stuff can be funny, seemingly mild products sometimes *trash* it...had ZAIO do that on pieces I regularly used (other, seemingly more potent) abrasives on.
