Places of interest for Autopians

What are places every autopian should visit? Exotic collections of products? Crazy variety? Time capsule? Post up some places that you could spend hours in.

Someone pointed out Frank's Auto Supermarket to me in Greensburg, PA. I was blown away at the amount of detaling products they had. Sure most of it was regular OTC, but the sheer variety was AMAZING. I took a few pics but didn't want to raise eyebrows. This place was loaded with detailing supplies.

These pics are about 1/4-1/3 of the products available. I was truly impressed. There has to be more places like this.

Too bad you didn't head west an hour or less. You want to get a chubby take the 360 degree tour.

Check out our store in Monroeville Mall - Autoality Incorporated

Want Crystal Rock? They've got it! I haven't been there yet but have had excellent mail order experiences. Prices are competative & free shipping for a $50 order all day, every day.

Holy cow, even for mostly OTC products they have a ton of good stuff there. Too bad there's nothing like that around here, at least that I know of. There's nothing nearby to make an Autopian sit up and take notice. :cry1:

Back when I lived in Jersey there was a Zaino store in Howell. I did go there but not sure if it is still in that exact location. Also in Jersey, PAL Automotive in Piscataway is a great detailing supply store. Had a Meg's GTG there several years ago. Here in FL,of course, is Autogeek in Stuart. I passed it once on 95 but haven't made it to Detail Fest or just to stop by. One day..

TLMitchell- Wow, thanks for posting that!

I sometimes stop by the local autobody/paint supply places, even when I don't really need anything.

That Pittsburg place is A-OK by me, nice to get a couple things like CG with free shipping over 50 bucks, and much closer than ordering from CA.

rwright had mentioned Autoality several times in past post and it sounds like they are a great place to do business with, especially those on the East Coast like myself.

Absolutely! Now why can't we have a national chain of Autoalities in many malls like Macy's has? :(

I'm thinking the overhead in a mall has to be killer. It's my understanding they had another store on the southside and closed it. You've got to admit, they've got a niche customer base. They've obviously got a relationship with PBMG since they carry Worlfgang/Pinnacle/XMT. When AG had Fuzion on sale cheap they were running the same deal, also had Souveran half price when AG did a while back.

A friend from London is in Greensburg, PA for a couple of weeks. Curiously, in addition to the accent, he bears a bit of a resemblance to Paul Dalton. I've been thinking perhaps we oughta stop by there and have some fun. Maybe have him do a 63-step wash on my carcass and rub some Crystal Rock on my butt. :nervous: Could be an entertaining photo op anyway.

Autoality and 380 auction in Monroeville and Murrysville have good deals. I am from Penn Hills originally.

380 looks interesting too. Man, Pittsburgh is turning out to be the detailing Mecca. Trader Horn has a pretty crazy selection too.

Just got back from Autoality. Awesome store, definitely a must visit if you are in the area. A great selection of brands and a very friendly and helpful staff.

Been wanting to head to Autoality myself but need to make the hour trek from Washington, PA. Seems like it will be worth the trip!!!
