Looking for input on the pinnacle XMT line. Wondering if anyone has used either the XMT 2 or 3 followed by the xmt 1 with the pc. Is the finishing glaze any good? Open to all thoughts - recomendations. Thanks in advance gang.
I havent used the whole line up, but here's a review I did. I didnt feel I needed to go over with a lighter polish. They are easy to use, but really didnt seem very aggressive to me.
I bought the kit from PinnacleWax for 59.99 with a 10% discount...it comes with #3, #1, the Finishing Glaze, yellow pad, white pad, 2 gray pads, 1 hand polishing pad, 2 mf bonnets, and 2 mf towels. It was an awesome deal.
I must admit, I'm a noob at the PC, so I'm still trying to figure things out, but I'd agree with Way2SSlow...they aren't very aggressive, but they are pretty easy to use and work well. The finishing glaze smells really good too (grape).
my bad for not doing a more through job searching for your review - had i known i would not have started another useless thread. That review helped me a lot. My buddy ordered the same kit and i wanted to get some background on the product first.
I have used the xmt3 and the finishing glaze and being as anal as I am I would recomend it, especially for the price. Very easy to use!!! Does not dust much at all. The finishing glaze goes on nice and does not leave a mess. Buy it!
I use it as my lsp sometimes on quick jobs. If I really want it to last I will put on a coat of trade secret or natty blue. I like this system cause the ease of use, cheap, and it is quick. I'll try to post a picture of a fender I did with only xmt3 and the finishing glaze.
I just bought the whole XMT line up myself. So far, I've only been able to use #1. It was a really nice polish which seemed very heavy in oils. This allowed me to work the polish for a good amount of time. Also, the oils kept the polish from drying so it was really easy to wipe off.
