I've been away from this forum for quite some time. Years to be honest. Just getting back into detailing my '68 Camaro after a long hiatus.



Has anything come around recently that beats/equals Pinnacle Sovereign in terms of a straight "show wax"? I used it seveal years ago and it looked incredible on my red car over Red Moose Glaze.
 
You can give Meguiar's NXT 2.0 a chance. It's about $16 a bottle and works great. Here is what it looks like on a red Lamborghini that I did.

I also applied #7 glaze before the 2.0.
 
If you want just a straight "show" wax, then I think you might like Meg's #7 Show Car Glaze. As stated, it's just for show. It doesn't protect at all, it's just for looks.



I recently switched from Souveran to Wolfgang Fuzion as my LSP of choice. I find it lasts a little longer, and looks just as good, if not better.

My guess is, no. I love Souveran on my black car. So far I have tried, in addition to Sovueran, Best of Show, Fuzion, Colly 845, Harly Wax, NXT, and Reflections. So far, Souveran is, by a tiny margin, my favorite. But to be honest, I love them all!
 
On certain paints Souveran has a truly unique look. There are other LSPs that look good, but they don't look quite the same as Souveran IME. P21s, for instance, is a much brighter/more reflective wax...some might like it as well, or better, but others will prefer Souveran. Just depends on the paint and the person doing the evaluating.

Here here! P21s is so different, distinctly different, from Souveran i cant believe people have used both and can come out and say they are the same.
 
Souveran is great except for the fact 30 mins after waxing (in my case) my black car has so much dust on it. I had to wash it again. :lol

And as soon as you wash it you need to rewax it :lol Does look nice for those few seconds right after you do it though.

I ended up taking it off a week later, and went with a sealant.



To be honest, I've never had to QD, or wash a car that much in my life during that week. I guess when I applied it, it was when the pollen, and dust were the heaviest. It drove me crazy. LOL



I like Souveran. It was easy to use and I really liked the look, but it drove me crazy. Next time I'll try it with a product like 425, to see if that makes a difference.
 
I've tried it and had more dust on my car. For the price you pay for it, you could buy 1 jar of Natty's Blue & 1 jar of Natty's Red for less than the Pinnacle. 1 coat of blue and 1 coat of red is simply amazing.
 
Yep I second that. Nattys blue is one of the few products that made me say "wow" after using it for the first time.

I have to agree with you. I shake my head when I read that. :think:
