So was cleaning a customers car and he pulled out a tub of pinnacle souveran said the dealer put in the car when he bought his lexus, he told me he buys it from them now, 60 bucks 8oz I think that's a good price, if so I'm gonna buy a few. Would there be any takers for some?

Factor in shipping from AG and $60 a tub is about equal to 2 for $100. Besides, who knows if/when AG will do it again.

Factor in they do free shipping and/or 10% off for autopia or the ever present 15% and then factor in most people's drive time to this Lexus dealer.......:p

The lexus dealer doesnt sell it to the public for that price, thats the price through a mechanic shop im sure the dealer would charfe you through the arse for it. i hace never used pinnacle apart from today and i was so impressed the ease of use and the looks, i will deff be using in the future

You'll be amazed at something else too... how much pollen it attracts this time of year! :shocked

I like the look it gives, but its not for pollen season!

Discounts don't apply to sales.

I'm not understanding, you said that the customer buys it through the dealer??? If its not the dealer then whats the name of the "mechanic shop"?

LOL. I removed after a few days last spring because of this. It drove me crazy. It's not too bad in the summer or fall though.

If someone's going to use Souveran in the spring don't use the Pinnacle Crystal QD with it.. It will only add more oils to the paint. Not a good combo with pollen and a black vehicle.

Unless you don't mind doing a wash, or wipe down twice a day.

How bad is the pollen in your areas? This wax will still attract a ton of dust during the summer as well? Any cars in my garage attract so much dust just sitting in there.

Yeah, its probably one of the more dust "attracting" LSP I have used. I like CG50/50, similar deep look, not as oily though, and way less dust.

During the summer I used FK425 and OID instead of Pinnacle Crystal . It was better, but I only left it on for a couple of weeks before trying something else.

yakky, Souveran was the only product (ever) that drove me crazy. I kid you not I had to either do a wash or wipe down twice a day. After a few days I said forget it. I stripped it and used Zaino.

Even though Zaino was a PITA with the high humidity, it didn't attract the pollen and dust that Souveran did.

In my experience with both Souveran and Zaino they are real good products, but in my area I know when to and when not to apply them.

Out of all the carnauba's and sealants I have these are the only two that are like this.:nixweiss

I agree, I think both Zaino and Souveran are great show car LSPs, def not good for daily drivers.
