"1. Packaging & Labeling. Is it well packaged? Are the labels durable? The label on each product was real good. Charlie’s soap was the best packed. It had a special little cap that prevents any “spill” if the gallon were fall even it the cap were missing.
2. Helpful instructions on label?
Yes. All the products gave me specific instructions add 1oz (4-5) caps to your wash. I did lees because I did one towel @ a time.
3. Does product do what the manufacturer claims it does?
Yes they all clean & leave the MF soft & clean . Micro-Restore is superior for treating, cleaning and preparing microfibers because it is a powerful degreaser—a strong detergent—with the absence of bleach or fabric softeners, both of which mean a certain slow death to microfibers. Pinnacle, micro-restore-Charlie’s Soap all work to remove every last bit of product that is naturally absorbed by microfibers.
4. Value. Is the product a good buy? If a liquid product, how much per ounce? Does a little go a long way?yes a little goes a long way with all. But with The size that the pinnacle & the Micro-Restore The Charlie is the best Bargain with 128 1oz. washes to the gallon. For 24 Dollars I have more than enough to keep my happy. While with the pinnacle 32.Oz is 18$ the bottle of Micro-Restore is 15$ for a 32oz. the 128Oz Charlie is the top Choice for VALUE!
5. Easy to use? Hard to use? Did you read the directions and use as directed? Yes All are very easy to use. All have directions that are Dummy proof. Its not Rocket science. :coolman:
6. If known, what is the pH of the product? Is it safe for enthusiasts or should it be for professional use only? The products are all safe with Water Softeners to keep your towels, cloth & anything you wash free of water minerals & any bleach. It is safe ebough for a soccer mom to use.
7. Describe the product smell, viscosity and other physical traits if any. Both the Pinnacle & Micro- Restore Are ATROCIOUS! The Charlie’s Soap Actually has no smell that I can recall of. But the smell has no affect on how the product performs.
Shot of the condition of the Towels before the wash.
I used 1/2 an Ounce using the measuring cup. :burnout:
Amazing on how all the nasty stuff come out.
because on of the yellow towels was full of Synthetic Oil, & other engine crap I decided to replace it with a blue towel for fair Comparison. :eat:
:xpl: :xpl:
Third Rinse less Suds. :read: i then did a fourth rinse to release some more suds. I was going to use Distilled Vinegar but i decided to make it this way to see the difference in all the liquids.
Conclusion Each towel is below the product that was used.
All gave me the Same results. The pinnacle & Micro Restore both have less suds to worry of. In fact the Charlie has more which gave me the impression that it is working longer ( which is good to know). The Pinnacle, Micro_Restore are Top notch MF cleaning detergents. but for the VALUE, SIZE, Cleaning, & Convenience. The Charlie's Soap is the winner. In fact the Charlie left my towels just like the others clean free of bleach.
Btw: the softnes on all was the same.
