Thank you Jason, these are some great products that can easily be used with a PC or rotary ..... yeah, I said rotary.
I was a bundle of nerves but I was using the 8" LC tufted "finger" pads I got from Scott P so I figured I had some margin for error.
I only did the hood because that seemed to be the surface that had the most imperfections that remained after using the PC.
The rotary is an old 2-speed WEN & I only used the low speed with is 1000 RPM. I was put zero downforce on it while trying to concentrate on keeping the pad level & moving away from all edges & body lines.
I used:
yellow 8" LC tufted pad with Advanced Swirl Remover 1000 RPM
white 8" LC tufted pad with Swirl Remover 1000 RPM
gray 6" LC pad with LS speed at 3.5 on PC
Best $10 I ever spent - thanks jason
I managed to remove some of the imperfections but not all 'cause I was a bit anxious using the rotary but the pads were a breeze to use .... so I let the pads & product do the work.
The ASR did not dust at all & neither did the SR. I primed the pads with a light spritz of water (thought I should) and the SR products were easy to apply & take off with MF.
The LS left a slick surface & the silver metallic really sparkled but I'll compare it to the UPP on the roof & EX-P on the deck lid for beading & durability.
