I just had something happen that has NEVER, NEVER happen before. While in my garage waxing the Corvette with PPG the wax fell out of the jar onto the floor! I couldn`t believe it.



After picking the wax up and cleanning the dirt off the best I could I put it back into the jar but fear to use it again because of what still might be in it. I guess I`ll have to dump it and purchase more. Not sure if I`ll go with Pinnacle again after this.



Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I think a few years ago I had that happen with some paste rubbing compound. I don't think I cared much because it sucked to begin with.

That must have looked pretty funny tho!

My guess is that CMA (or whoever) might be sympathetic and help you out with a new one....

I wouldn't throw it out...the same thing happened to me with s100...the whole "chunk" of wax fell out of the jar (i was careless)...all i did was put it on some wax paper and used a razor blade and shaved a few mm's off/around the whole "chunk" of wax...the dirt and debris can only penetrate so far into the "chunk"...

My wax developed a crack through the center of it a few weeks ago when I was detailing the car in 45 degree weather.



I store my wax in a cool place and it kind of surprised me.

It still had the shine to it.

I'd just take a knife and trim it up a bit, kind of like shaving mold off a block of cheese

I took DavidB`s advice and e-mailed to the supplier, ****************, about that problem I had with their Paste Glaz. Today I was e-mailed by Jeanette at Customer Service and they are sending a replacement jar. I never asked for anything, was just telling about the problem I had with PPG.

There reply speakes volumes about their company.
