Vechile is a used car detailed for delivery to a customer for a family friend's used car buisness. . .

Vehicle had bad surface scratches, stains, waterspots and imperfections, had never been waxed or cleaned, and had been taken through car washes (sorry, digi cam still down, I hate writing these posts and not having pics)

This is not a product review of the pinnacle ASR/AFP, however,

Though the Pinnacle products removed surface contamination, dullness and ultra mild surface abrasions/holograms - they did very poorly at removing the many light and moderate swiril marks, and fine scratches on the vehicles paint, even with two applications with a yellow pad and one application with an orange pad..... All products were applied in a cool, well lit enviornment, using Pinnacle XMT Pad conditioner. All pads used were well broken in and clean. Product was applied at speed 3-4 and worked in at speed 6 using seven to eight passes per application. Product had very mild dusting.

Just thought I would share my results. I posted a previous thread about Pinnacle ASR/AFP and did not get very many replies, most of which were not very optimistic . . .so I suppose I am not to surprised. Oh well, I get my Optimum line friday, cant wait . . . :getdown

i had no luck with the pinnacle products either,or xmt so i went with menzerna for my new polishes.boy am i glad i did,as long as you can put up with some dusting they are fantastic.

check this out and it had real bad swirls and cobwebs before.

nice buddy. . . . I chose optimum only because autogeek sold it and it made sense to only pay once for shipping. A lot of people here use their polishes along with menzurna - which i will be ordering aswell, just ran out of money.

so you have had some dusting with menzurna ?

The xmt dusted like you were in a dirt field, and the PASR and PAFP had a little bit of dust, but nothing to bad . . .

second q - what did you top that paint with - it looks fantastic . . ?
