Pink Moose?

This may be a silly question for some but what exactly does Pink Moose consist of? I know that it is Red Machine glaze by clearkote and another product, but which one? I have RMG and would be interested in the other product as well perhaps. The other silly question is what exactly do you use Pink for? Regular buffing, swirl removing or minor paint corrections? I have a black prelude and a black mustang that I try to keep about 90-95% perfect, could this help?

The other product is VM (Vanilla Moose Wax-Hand Glaze).

The mix (Pink Moose) will have some cleaners and some very mild abrasives. Since it is VM that has the mild abrasives to start with, and you're diluting it 50% with RMG, you won't get a whole lot of correction out of it. You will have a very nice glaze that will leave your paint deep and wet....... top it with some CMW and you'll have those black cars looking like deep pools.



This combo, started by our very own Scottwax, has become so popular that ClearKote now sells a Pink Moose Kit.
 
Scottwax's famous Pink Moose is VM and RMG 50/50.



Edit: The only thing faster than John's street rod is his keyboard. :)
 
Here is how to make pink moose:



get VM and RMG from your product collection

find an empty bottle:

mark off even amounts and add product RMG

Add VM

Put on lid, shake well:

what speeds do you guys use when applying the pink moose? And im assuming you break it down until its basically gone, then wipe away remaining residue??

I used speed 5-3, and yes I usually break it down till there's nothing even there then wipe the remaining residue away.
 
I normally use the blue finishing pads, which seem to be about halfway between a polishing pad and a black finishing pad.

Uploading pics right now. I've just been really, really busy. Plus the Autopia gallery isn't allowing new uploads and photohost.org isn't quite as reliable. I'll probably never catch up, I've got at least 400-500 pics I can upload!
 
I've been using Photobucket. Their new bulk uploader is faster than the old one, which is a good thing. The old one was very slow.
 
I'm trying to understand pink moose. Where/why do people use it? Why would it be used over(instead) say...poliseal?



Im switching to Menz SIP/106 for polishes (from Optimums line) will I even need a glaze?



I think I'm just itching to burn a hole in my wallet so part of me is trying to justify buying it while the other is asking if I have a use for it. Off of the top of my head, I detail a black 2002 BMW that gets pretty swirl heavy between visits. The logical part of me says I should try the Menz combo and PS before buying some PM :)



Also, I prefer Sealant LSPs
