Pictures of the Belton Cruise & The Real Reason We Go...

I am usually very careful when I apply wax but for some reason I got sloppy and wax got on the black trim on my Durango. The trim has got a grain type finish and I cannot get the wax off of it. Can anyone help me?

Jerry in Minnesota.

Try some peanut butter. Gently rub it in and wipe it off. Follow up with some 303. Next time put the 303 on first so that it won't stick as easily. The black trim by the wipers are a bitch! Hard to avoid.

Peanut butter is an idea. Toothbrush with some water worked for me. Megauirs #40 I think works.

Read archives this has been covered not too long ago.

Jerry..the next time you wax your Durango, you can avoid this by taping off the mouldings and trim. I get my tape from an auto body supply store. 15 minutes of taping saves hours of work!

Lots of Pictures of the Belton Cruise Night... The real reason we go is in the last picture.;):drool5:

As I said in the other thread, this was the last cruise night of the season... The temp was in the mid-sixties with sunshine..... Very nice!

In the best weather there will be 800-900 cars there... today, I'd say there were 400-500... (late season, cool weather.)

Lots of pics! A fun day if you like muscle....

What a quaint lil town, perfect setting for an awesome event like that. There sure are alot of amazing cars in Mizzou

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for your comments guys!

I've been going to the monthly Belton cruise for at least 7 years and I've only missed ONE!

Lots of fun, good eats, good friends!

Bill, I am in SE MO, Cape Girardeau to be exact. I might have to make a road trip to Bleton next summer. That looks pretty cool, and I never pass up a banana split.

Well the banana split looks good and its good for you; bananas a fruit, looks like pineapple on the end another fruit, and the other end yet another fruit - strawberries or cherries perhaps, and some good dairy products. Isn't that what mom wanted us to eat for breakfast? Fruit and dairy?

Seriously though I think that red Vette with the 383 would be where I would be spending some extra time. Gorgeous car. :drool5:

RATS. The pictures won't display for me! :cursing: I just had my browser re-installed on this laptop (work) so maybe one of the settings got hosed up. Sounds like it was a great time.

Yeah, it's the 4th Saturday of every month May-October. Most months in good weather, you can't even WALK down the street, there are so many cars and people!!!

That Banana Split was my dinner! It also weighed about a pound and a half!:D

Thanks for the pictures - especially the Family Truckster. I needed a good laugh and it's nice to see that classic design live on....:D
