Pics of my Z06 taken today...

I want to start by saying I'm novice detailer. I don't have any power tools yet, just my lefty elbow grease.
With that said here's what I did today...

Well, I finally had a chance to properly prepare the paint well enough to apply RejeX to where I felt was right.
Last night I found some Meguiar's Wax Cleaner in my Camaro I didn't know I had (nucking futz!) So, I was now ready to go. I washed the car with soap water, rinsed off, and started to apply the Meguiar's Wax Cleaner. This stuff comes off so easy, is ridiculous. I started to buff it clean; I went over the car few times with a cotton towel, just to make sure I didn't miss a spot -I wanted the surface to be flawless-
Finally, it was time to use RejeX. I started applying it using Adams Polishes Microfiber Applicator. I went over the whole car, putting emphasis to detail on the bumper (bug shield). I let it haze while I started on the wheels.

At last, time to start removing the RejeX to a shine. It removed very easy, while leaving the car nice slick, I used Adams Polishes Yellow Microfiber Polishing towels for this. And here's the result...

I took these pics with the Sun already set behind the mountains, but still fairly clear. At around 7:15pm MST :)

I did the tires with DuPont Teflon Tire Shine. I applied that on my tires prior to start washing it. I scrubbed the wheels with a microfiber towel using soap water and rinsed off with plain water. Once sprayed down, the Teflon Tire Shine gave me a nice black-tone look to my tires, it wasn't glossy which is how I like them to look.

I also added an exhaust plate today while I was at it. First mod! I'm not stock anymore!

Oh My! That is one sweet looking car...

Well done! You may not have the tools yet, but you definitely have an eye for details.

You have obviously never eaten German food...it s*cks. Hope to see you around town (of course I don't race anyway...too many tickets from the local gestapo).:surrender

Nice looking vette. It's good to see you keeping her clean.

Not a problem. Your car shouldn't be hard to spot. I don't street race either. Unless is an open and safe road, and just for a little skirmage :D
