Having one myself, I'll answer. It doesn't sound like a weedeater at all. It sounds deep and rumbly. Very unlike the cheap Flowmaster's that you can pick up for a little of nothing.

Well, to clear things up...I never said I was smoking V8's all day and no, it does not sound like a weedeater, it has a nice quiet rumble to it.

Anyways, I checked with a few mazda6 owners and they recommened the magnaflow. Fit seems to be good, and no problems installing. I heard an audio clip f them and they dont sound like a "wet fart" <---that cracks me up by the way, dont know why it just strikes me funny.
