Pics of my car after the detail

Looks great, I really like those rims too.

I cant decide if I like those tails. Im usually not a fan of clears like that, but those look pretty decent.

Nice work!

I did like them at first but now I see them all over on the 2001+ Civics. I can't decide if they will eb coming off this summer or not.

Nice job 2001civicex!

BTW, are those 17's with no drop?? :nono (j/k)

I agree about the taillights. They look nice....

I'm considering installing some of those so-called "European" tail lights on mine. Too bad I missed the group-buy!

What kind of Cat-back is that?

The reason it is not dropped yet is cause Koni is the only people making struts for the 01+ Civics right now and in order to install them you have to cut your front struts all up and I don't like that idea. So I am waiting on Tokico or KYB. I ALMSOT bought a set of teins for it but I used the money to pay off some house stuff instead. :(

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

I got a Magnaflow Cat back on it and love it! It is a nice low rumble. Never loud or weed waterish at all.

Yeah, I agree. When I had my Koni's installed, the process was a bit quirky...use the OEM strut housing for the new shocks?? Plus, the rear perch is a bit awkard as well. But I couldn't wait. I couldn't stand the bounciness of the stock suspension and just had to do something about it.

I've heard the Magnaflow's a few times in person and they're simply awesome! I'm running the Tanabe Hspec.....definitely quieter than most, but that's what I wanted. Something deep and quiet.

It would look really cool if you had a body shop tint the factory tails. I had thought about doing this numerous times on my '90 Accord, but never got around to it. Looks really clean on a black car.

Me too. I would rather the car draw attention for looks not for a loud annoying exhaust. You have a 7th gen Civic also? These suspensions suck! I hope more companies start producing soon!

I was thinking about that too. My buddy's Talon is blacked out in the rear lights and it looks sweet. My other buddy also took his CF tails like mine and took them apart, then he painted over the CF to match the body. Those look really good. I woudl rather sell these tails then risk breaking them though. lol

Yeah, remember? I was the one who told you about the trunk rattling DIY over at 7thGen.com. Did you ever get a way to stop your license plate from rattling?

Tell me about it! The stock suspension has got the worst ride of any car I've driven. Any sort of bump or dip practically lifts my entire body off the seat. The good news is that my Koni's/Eibachs have taken good care of that problem.

Also, my little sister got an '03 Civic and the suspension is actually pretty good in that car. No more bouncing around in the driver's seat.

Ohhhh yeah! Sorry Intermezzo! I have not even fooled with the license plate yet. Hopefully this week sometime.

What Eibach kit did you go with? PRO or SPORT? And do you got pics so I can see the drop?

Theyre really easy to tint yaself.

Can of tint spray and spray the lenses on the inside!

I've done quite a few.

Some dumbasses in the UK stretch nylons over theirs as they seem to be unable to figure out how a spray can works.

But then they cant figure out which way round a baseball cap goes either...............

I went with the Pro-Kit...which is only about a 1" drop. I wanted to keep my visual enhancements as minor as possible. Sorry, no pics available. Basically, it eliminated the "4x4" look of the stock springs (now has about a 1" gap with stock wheels) while keeping the car looking like it hasn't been modified or lowered. In fact, my wife didn't even notice it till I told her about it.

I've also instaled Eibach pro kit + Koni's in my 250HP Volvo. As for the struts, I went to my dealer and asked for a used pair of struts which they had and gave me for free. I used them to mount the Koni shocks. Never install lowered springs with OEM shocks, the car will ride wierd.

BTW, I saw these pics over at 7th Gen. IMO, the prokit's drop of 1" is very little, and on 17/45's you'd get rid of most of the wheel gap, but then you'd have a car that looks a bit too high....back to the stock look.
