Pics of my car after extreme spray instant wax....

Gee....I feel like Simon Cowell....



Yes the cars are very nice, deep rich colors BUT is it the spray wax giving that richness or the Menzerna glaze, Zymol or the #7 ?



I'm sure it's a great product but I would also like to see what it looks like as a stand alone, meaning no glaze, no sealants or other waxes.



Also curious to know its makeup....is it a wax, ploymer, UV abosorbers?

That is true. I think if I'm going for dramatic effect I reach for a glaze.



Initially I thought, well yes, there is a glaze. But I assumed they had the same preceding steps before the spray wax and took their word for it that there was a difference between LSP's.
 
well guys last sat myself and clark were at a detailing day over here in scotland and dave from www.washnwax.com was there all his products i think are made by chemical guys but dont quote me on that

when the 2 of us were given the FREE sample we both tried it on our cars and it just gave both of our cars a richer deeper shine that blow every 1 away with the shine



now today i have a vectra and what i will do is use this for u lot i will take b4 and after pics using this product

The link doesn't work and going by the description I am betting that no one will see this product in the good ol US of A.



This is a knock off of Optimum as Optimum already has a patent on a carnauba/polymer sprayable wax with UV absorbers. Funny how I now hear rumors of Meguiars now also having a spray wax but only in the UK. I don't think the OCW patent extends across the pond so companies can knock it off and sell it there.



I believe, if I'm correct, that reps from Meguiars were the first ones to buy a bottle of Optimum spray wax some years ago. Interested to see how this develops down the road.

After further looking into....this product is for sale here in the USA, I stand corrected.



After reading up on it, looking at the picture, etc. I know it's nothing like OCW. I don't think it has any UV absorbers in it but that's just my personal feeling.



The product description though is truly misleading.



It claims to leave no dust....



superior shine without the powder residue or work!



It then states later....



leaves virtually no smear, dust or powder



This one really says alot....



contains no cleaners or abrasives unlike most waxes on the market.



We then read a scale right under that statement.....



Clean: Low 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 High



Shine: Low 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 High



UV Block: Low 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 High



Protection: Low 1 2 3 4 5 6 78 9 10 High Scent: Vanilla





To further confuse we read...



micro cleaning agents remove contaminants and light scratches



one-step formula cleans, waxes & polishes



So it has no cleaners yet it cleans paint and removes scratches even :confused: Someone explain that one.



The descriptions and instructions contradict each other and some of the statements I have seen elsewhere on other products almost word for word. This product seems more along the lines of Vanilla Moose or Snap Seal.

We, at JEFFS Werkstatt, don't normally post here on Autopia, but this thread has been brought to our attention.



While imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, it seems that Chemical Guys has blatantly lifted sections of the marketing text for our Carnauba Jett product from our website and are using it in their description of their "EXTREME FAST INSTAWAX + BRILLIANT SHINE & PROTECTION SPRAY & WIPE" product in violation of copyright laws.



Examples of verbatim copyright infringement:

" A better application method for a better Carnauba wax"



"A sprayable high-content carnauba wax that is applied and buffed in one continuous, additive action."



"A Better Carnauba Wax System for a Better Gloss."



"The pure, warm, and smooth gloss of carnauba in a sprayable and unusually durable form."



As well, sections of the application directions have been lifted from our website.



We would just like to state without confusion that JEFFS Werkstatt has no affiliation whatsoever with Chemical Guys nor with washnwax who are apparently using CG's text.



Our thanks for bringing this to our attention so that we can pursue the issue with Chemical Guys directly.
 
Exactly what I was speaking of when I stated I had seen the descriptions elsewhere....I just didn't want to name any names.



It just seems rather cheap and misleading....never mind how contradictory it is.

That product is OLD. Just think "Brilliance" and think hard.:grinno: Like many of their other products, it seems to have undergone a recent name change.

Agreed, those wheels are really bright and the tires are a uniform wet black. :xyxthumbs



I've heard that the CG Instawax and its...err..."Brilliance" counterpart are lackluster on paint, more suited to chrome and windows (which to me seems useless). How does slickness compare to OCW?
 
ok..I see it now...I was looking for something that looked like OCW and in a spray bottle...



I'll stick with OCW and FK1...
