Since I got the idea of using Klasse from you guys here at autopia, I figured I'd post my pics here also (I just put them up at the Sebring forum, ASOG, I'm at a lot) to see what you guys think. Unfortunately, since I seem to be having problems posting pics (DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAUSES THE "LITTLE RED X" PROBLEM IN THE PICS AND HOW TO STOP THAT?!?), here's the link to the thumbnails... just click on the thumbnails for a bigger and better version, which is what I wanted to post

Looks like you cant hot link from that site>?

car looks good!:xyxthumbs I will be the first to say.....got to hit the wheel wells man. But that is a nice looking car, Like it! :)

AHHH DAMMIT.... mmkay, let's try this: if you have the "red X" problem, right click, go to Properties, copy the link, and use it as the address in a new browser window (sorry, guys, wish I could stop that STUPID RED X THING!!!! )

Side profile (see the rim reflection in the ground? lol...):

If anyone could help with that red X problem, please tell me... dammit

Looks good man:xyxthumbs I did AIO x 3, SG x 2, and P21S Carnuba as a topper for my first detail, and what a difference it made. I didn't think it could look any better after my 2nd coat of SG, but sure enough...the carnuba topper blew my socks off. I'm telling you, just try the P21S Carnuba as a topper once..you will love it.:D

heh, ty man... actually, I go back to school on the seventh. Before that, I'm planning on a third coat of SG (maybe) and topping with P21S (it's already here, sitting right next to the Klasse)... ;)

Speaking of cleaning wheel wells, what does everyone do to get them nice and black? I usually spray some p21s total auto wash up there and use a high pressure nozzle to rinse it away. Does anyone dedicate a wash mitt or a brush to the wheel wells? How about using aerosols which repaint them?

Yes. I use the same brush on the wheelwells that I use on my tires. When I need to retire a body wash mitt, it becomes my wheel wash mitt, the old wheel wash mitt becomes my wheelwell wash mitt. I usually just spray a 50/50 solution of Simple Green in the wheelwells and wash them with the shampoo mix I used on the wheels & tires.

Well, I use a mitt just for that, and I plan on using a brush, as well. Actually, I'm glad you liked how mine looked (?), because I skipped them the last time I washed them. They're up, along with EVERYTHING else (engine, all interior, ...), next.

This is going to sound crazy, but the hotlink worked for me and I couldn't see the direct IMG posts. :p

Looks good though. :)

pbase is trying to stop hotlinking i think, they have some TeraBytes of pictures on their servers, and i can't imagine the pure bandwidth costs of hosting that :scared

btw, very nice job! i want my car to look that good! need to work off the swirl marks first tho! :(

The Red X could be the result of a Firewall. Do you have a firewall, and have it set too high? Essentially, a firewall will stop incoming but ALSO outgoing information. If you have it set for max protection, it could be stopping the out going photos as well as incoming photos. Read the Read Me that came with the firewall for more info.

If I think of something else, I'll let you know!

thanks all :D

I know, the wheel wells don't look too great. They'll be better in a few days when I give it another wash so I can get the engine (which looks like crap), wheel wells, and everything else done.

Hotford: yeah, I do have a firewall, and yes, it is set to high for all foreign ("not trusted") internet sites. Maybe that could be it... thanks for the thought ;) But I uploaded them to Pbase, and I can see them fine from there... why the big problem when I use the address of the image for the boards here?

But anyway, ty for the feedback :xyxthumbs
