Here is the new G6, whcih I had the opportunity to detail recently for the Oprah show, which will be aired this MOnday for her opening season. This was a great experience for me, went through 3 levels of sercurity just to get to the garage. as you can see lighting was horrible, you would think they would some better lighting to detail a car that will be on stage for a global audience. The car itself it nothing exciting, Looks like a GrandAm with different skin. watch the show on MOnday and see how the car looks. Gary
 
I heard that might of been the case, it was hush hush around the studio when I was there. Since it was taped during the week, I'm sure something leaked out. That's one way to keep her ratings up there. All I did was QD the car, put on some S100, clean the glass and dress the tires. No big deal. I wish I could start doing her personal fleet of cars, that's where the $$$$ is. Maybe I should ask Dr. Phil if I could meet here some time. Gary

Hirosh, no new Pontiac for me. My significant other's girlfreind went to that show. We have been begging her to tell us what she got or what happened but to no avail, all she kept saying is that she is in utter shock. From what I understand she had to sign numerous legal agreements to remain hush, hush. From Gary's post I am connecting the dots...it seems logical.



It would very nice to recieve a new car for just being in the right place at the right time....talk about lucky!
 
I guess we will know this Monday. I won't be able to see the AM show, but my wife is taping it. It will also be on at night from what I understand. You would think the detail guy would get a car too, don't ya think. Although come to think of it, I would give up the car if she would mention Perfect Auto Finish on her show. If that happened, guess what would happen to my business? Can you say, I need more space? :up
 
Cool gig. Did the car go on after you finished or did sit in the garage for another day?



I read she made an annouce visit to the G6 plant within the past week or two.

Too bad it wasn't Oprah's personal car . I do not think that she would know the difference if you charged her $250 or $2500 for a detail. Rumor has it she has a few shillings in the bank. I am sure that the car was up to standards, but it doesn't hold a candle to your 1968 280SE !!! ;)



BTW... I saw a Panoz Esperante the other day and thought of you. Cool car !!!

I was in Braselton, Georgia yesterday at Chateau Elan near where the Panoz cars are made and Panoz winery is located. Beautiful country if you have a chance to go...They have a Panoz auto building at Road Atlanta but I have not toured it yet.
 
They didn't drive it, came on a car transporter. If anyone has access to a TV this morning please post what happened on the show. I won't be able to watch until tonight when they have the PM show. Gary
 
Gary is just being modest.. I'll bet you detailed all 276 of those Pontiac's.....

The system went down late last night/early this morning. I think they lost a hard drive. When it came back up the latest messages were from about 8:00 AM yesterday, so I guess that was the latest back-up they had.
