Picked Up a New Dealer Account

After doing dealer cars for over a decade and vowing to never do another one again if I can help it, this gets thrown in my lap. I was referred by my local Ferrari shop to start doing the new car preps on new Tesla's needing special love. Each car after being assembled in California gets test driven approximately 150 miles and are in need of proper prepping for either the showroom or for client delivery. These cars are hand painted and completely wet sanded at the factory which means the final finish may require some Autopian refinement. I must admit that these cars are pretty stealthy to say the least producing 288 HP, weighing in at ~2700lbs, starting price of around $130,000 with performance of 3.7 0-60! All this and the car is 100% ELECTRIC!!! :shocked Depending on what is needed, each car can either be worked on at their FT. Lauderdale dealership (which is owned by Tesla) or be trailered to my house for a long winded production. I hope this turns out to be a successful venture.

Here’s the 1st one getting picked up from my place after a 3 day detail:

as far as they don`t stress you and they are fair with you/ your work , any dealer account is good...

i am glad you busy

david couldn't be happier for you, they definitely are in the right hands and will get the attention they deserve...

btw - have a happy thanksgiving :dance

I forgot to thank everyone for their compliments. Much appreciated. And no, I didn't get a chance to drive this one although I would have really loved to. Very hard to get in and out of for sure. I'll try to do a full write up asap.

David, it's funny that you didn't have time for SEMA or detailing since your "internet business" was up by 200% but yet a dealership account falls in your lap and you have time for that?

No Richie not really, actually I was being sarcastic.

Really Barry? Didn't you recenlty knock me for doing dealership work prior to SEMA? If I remember correctly you said dealership work doesn't pay.

Remember I'm not working on Hondas and minivans here Chief!
