Pick a QD from the list...

That's why I've continued to use FK425...I haven't found something better yet.  With so many new products, I just assume something out there might be worth trying.  I love the Prima products, so I was hoping someone out there has used Prima Slick and would have an opinion on it.

i've used it and really like it. it does what it says. i also use prima hydro on a regular basis.

Alfisti, I had previously read about ocw them Opti Seal, but I am a little worried about the solvents in Opti Seal.

It had never been a problem for me, but seal then wax is safest.

I had seen Optimum day that the wax mitigates above the seal, but have seen Chris Thomas talk about the solvent possibly causing problems.

So are you revising the sequence you use them?

Good question...aren't they totally interchangeable?  Scott?

I think you are fine if you apply OS a week after using OCW. But I prefer using OCW last, seems to give the paint even more depth.

I am looking for where I saw the wax mitigating above the seal. I also am going to contact Optimum with the question.

Sealing then waxing is the safest choice, but I am not changing what I am doing just yet. It works for me, but I would not be privy if there is lessened duration.

I need to do side by side comparisons for my own decision to be made.

They said that Os on top of ocw is okay. The solvent amount in Os will not remove wax. They did say that you could wait 30 minutes to be safe.

Any of these QDs require caveats regarding messing up commonly used LSPs?  E.g., I've had FK425 utterly ruin 476S, and I mean "redo the car over several hours"-ruin it.
