Photos of New Poorboys EX-P+ in Action!

That looks fabulous, any idea when EX-P+ will be offered?

Is it as easy to use as EX-P?

Todd's Solara always looks great & your Lexus is no slouch either. Silver CAN look great, perhaps not as deep & wet as the darker colors but too many people give up on it & the lighter colors. It's definitely worth the effort.

Thanks for the kind words. Silver can be awesome and new paint technology will continue to make the flakes pop more.

This is one terrific sealant. I look forward to when this comes to market. It created the best look I have seen on Todd's Solara. The silver flake was simply jumping out at you in places...

[sorry for the link...I have been having trouble getting my pics to upload to DC]
The car is absolutely gorgeous.

FWIW, you are limited in the size of picture you can put in a post, but if you upload it to the gallery, I think we can handle about anything you come up with.

That is right up there with AIO + UPPx2. :rofl

It is at least as slick as UPP...and I believe the reflections are a bit better. Of course we really aren't comparing apples to apples. VM gives a much wetter look than AIO IMHO...but durability suffers. I'd like to see VM + UPP on your car...feel up to another combo?

Thanks for the compliments NYV6 Coupe & Charles.

Silver can be frustrating, but I enjoy the challenge. TW85, SilverLexus & myself have been trying to one up each other for a while now!

SilverLexus and I have been getting errors when trying to upload pics lately. I'll try another one and PM you with the results Charles.

Oh, sure. I have delayed detailing my mom's car because I want to try different products (did the interior on Thanksgiving day). VM + EX-P was a combo I was considering, but I am willing to try VM + UPP on her car as well as mine. Could care less about durability on my car...LOL

Interesting Findings! I just got in from a 3000 + Mile trip with Brilliance, EXP, and EXP+. I would hafta say it is very comparable to UPP. I like the new Sealant, but gotta use up the EXP I have now.

Wow thats a bold claim considering that UPP is about the slickest product out there. The lack of slickness with the first EX-P was about the only thing I disliked about it. Wit that having been improved (apparently a lot too if its like UPP) then it sounds like EX-P+ is going to be one amazing product. Where is Steve to leak some details about this one? This is the first I'm hearing of it! Thanks for the report mtodde. The car looks amazing! :bigups

Todd , thanks for the testing, Lee thanks for the pictures and help.:)

Actually the EX-P+ had an EXPerimental new ingredient added to it, it was a test sample thus no scent. Yes it was made a bit too thick:rolleyes: and I had the opportunity to just ditch it and wait for another sample batch or just go for it.
I expected to hear about the thickness issue from some;)
The real differences in the EX-P's I have seen, are out in the sun....a bit more POP , wetness, and slickness too.
The new ingredient will be be first introduced in the new Wheel Sealant which is coming toward the end of testing....sorry don't expect it in EX-P or EX until sometime in the Spring. I'm sure we'll have a few more test samples in the near future for others to try, for right now we just wanted current EX-P (LSP) users opinions on the subtle diffferences.

Charles under the new DC format you have to do some searching:dunno:lmfao

Thanks for the review :bigups Hopefully this one will have better durability than EXP. Shame that EXP didn't last long in this hot and rainy weather, we can have rain for a whole week here :boohoo

I am expressing my opinion. I have UPP (and AIO) and saw and felt the AIO + UPP x2 on TW85's car Thanksgiving Day (our parents live down the street from each other). Since we have the same car I am comfortable making comparisons. IMO, the EX-P+ felt slicker than his car did...that comparison was made 3 days apart which is pretty close. The sun was starting to set when I saw his car and it looked similar to mine with AIO + EX-Px2, which is to say great...it had the salad oil gloss...I believe that VM gives a wetter look when used as a base than AIO does...before anyone gets excited let me say that if I were limited to one product to use for the rest of my life it would be AIO...

I was and am a big fan of EX-P...the new formula appears to be even better!

Todd,

Where did you feel the finish of my car? Trunk lid? If so, there is Signature over the UPP (on trunk lid) and it greatly reduced the slickness.

I felt the front & rear quarter panels. That sounds funny doesn't it?

you're experimenting again...you're worse than me, LOL. Do you have any pics in the sun of Signature topping UPP? I'd really like to see that. What did it do to the look?

Have no idea what it looks like. I think my car has been out of the garage twice since we met and it was dark both times. I was going to take pictures today of the UPPx2 but then remembered my sister took my camera to take pictures of her dog, LOL.

I'm thinking of dividing my hood into five sections for #16, Natty's, Signature, S100, and Paste Glaz. The trunk lid is just not large enough. :D
