What is the advantage of Looped vs. Split MF ?

The looped and twisted "terry weave" allows for more microfiber in a given area. That's why the GSM (grams per square meter) rating is so much higher with the PFM Towels. The advance of that is much higher absorbency. MUCH higher!

That is correct. The smaller PFM 2-pack is the same as the Drying Towel. Same with the PFM Glass Towel: One side is the same PFM material with the tight-weave glass cloth on the other side.

Towels look promising. Does the 16 x 16 PFM work well for polish removal? They seem to be more geared for liquid removal.

They are amazing for polish removal! We also have PFM Wax Removal Towels that are 9"x9" and a little better suited for Wax/Polish removal. One towel fits within your hand so you don't have to fold over a bigger towel. Same material though and it really cuts through hard-to-remove wax and polish.
