Pet Peeves, Anybody Else Have Any.....

A bit late to this thread but...

A really nice car that is not taken care of. I was driving home from getting lunch and was behind a Ferrari F430 which was just covered in grime and dust. I almost cried :banghead:

People that scuff you're brand new expensive shoes to try to be funny.

People that are complete dbags when it comes to parking. Just because you drive a new Camaro does not mean you get the right to take up 4 spaces.

that is all for now.

I say, if someone drives their exotic car to the point where it gets dirty, more power to them! You only live once, what fun is it to just have your beautiful Ferrari completely spotless and sitting in the garage all the time? I'd rather be out smoking its tires and making the engine wail all the way to its redline than sitting in the garage just staring at it.

I also have the same pet peeve about shoes. I've had the same pair of white Nikes for well over a year, I frequently take them apart and detail them, soaking the laces in bleach, etc. (granted I don't wear them all the time, but still). They still look almost new, though it's such a pain trying to avoid lots of people/big crowds so they don't get scuffed up.

Correction. smoking its tires and making the engine wail all the way to its redline... and then an ONR wipe-down when you park it in the garage and a spritz of AquaWax... just because

(repeat on a daily)

I understand if there is break dust on the wheels or even some splatter along the sides from really driving the beast. But dust and grime that is from months without a wash? I dont know but that really gets me going.

And I do the same with my shoes. I clean them when they show any sign of dirt. But my friend at school like to step on them and scuff them when they notice how clean they are. :cursing: Some people have no respect for other's stuff...even if they see it as a joke it is still rude and ruffles my feathers.

how about while you are buffing, you move to the next section, and the cord gets stuck on the tire and becomes disconnected!! Drives me insane!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I have so many theres no way I could name them all. A few biggies:

-When people lean on other people's cars

-When people park right next to you when you are in the back of the parking lot and there are a million other spots they could have chosen

-Drinking and driving, also texting and driving

-Most of the people who shop at Wal-Mart

-When you are carpooling with people (and you are the one driving) and they take 5 minutes to get out of the house, while you sit there idling and wasting gas

-People who are loud and obnoxious in public places

:iagree: I know how u feel.

These will fix part of the problem. Well worth the price in avoiding aggravation.

I loop the end of the extension cord and make a single half knot around the end of polisher's plug when I plug it in. Any tension just tightens the knot instead of unplugging.

My #1 wintertime pet peeve: When someone drives over fresh snow on my driveway before I have a chance to shovel it. Unless I go out there with a garden hoe that stuff is impossible to shovel off! (I just spent an hour shoveling...)
