Pet Peeves, Anybody Else Have Any.....

-Parents who put their kids on timeouts! If I or either of my siblings got out of line when we were kids all my parents had to do was look at us! Now days kids have no discipline and I laugh when I see parents threatening their kids with a timeout!

-People who play FarmVille, Mafia Wars or and any other similar Facebook game all day/night long.

-People who don't wipe off the cardio equipment when they are done at the gym.

-Left lane bandits

-People who talk/text on the phone while driving

-Big banks who manipulate your transactions so that they can rack up more NSF fees.

-Rude people

-Loud obnoxious people who make scenes in public places

-People who are to lazy to place shopping carts back in the rack. (Usually over weight people)

yet a few moe LOL...

all gym related below

* people who don't shower themselves off before entering the
jacuzzi or pool after they've gone in the sauna or steam room.

* inconsiderate people who do not not share lanes when swimming
in the pool, or are purposely obnoxius when swimming (splashing wildly everywhere)

*people who are about to enter the steam room that keep the door
open longer than they should (some will open while talking to someone
outside), thus letting all the steam and having to wait for it to cycle again

* people who spit on the ground (this is one reason why i always wear flip flops around the pool area at all times) and also leave trash behind (water bottles, etc, etc,)

it amazes me sometimes on the personal hygiene of some who do not care that there are others around sharing the same equipment. i guess for some,
manners aren't that important anymore. some people act like they own the gym...

People on this site who have religious sayings in their sigs.

Roseanne Bar, Whoopi Goldberg, Dr. Laura, Michelle Bachmann, Lindsey Lohan,
Brittany Spears.

People on the highway who know they need to turn left, and move over to the left lane about a week before they need to turn, then drive 35MPH all the way to the turn.

People who leave a car length or more in front of them when stopped at stop lite or turn signal.

Soccer

That's all for now.

In Ontario, if you are stopped and are struck from behind, you are not at fault (obviously). But, if you strike the car ahead of you (from not leaving enough space), then you are deemed at fault for striking the car in front of you.

Poor driving including texting/talking on cell phones bothers me to no end. I did collision reconstruction for a number of years (we investigate traffic fatalities), so seeing needlessly dangerous actions that threaten the safety of others really pisses me off. The cool thing was that I worked in an undercover traffic enforcement vehicle so I got to ticket some very, very deserving drivers!! You gotta love it when you have someone pulled over and the drivers that were around him honk and give you the thumbs up or clap because he was so dangerous.

I hate the idiots that stop so far back from the stop lights that they won't change. I actually got out of my car about a month ago, walked up in front of their car and motioned for the driver to move forward after having the light go through two cycles....the painted lines are their for a reason! I got a very nasty look from the older lady in her nice new BMW and her passenger that she was apparently to busy talking with to realize what was going on. :-?

Funny how it changed as soon as she moved up a few feet!

My motorcycle won't set it off so I wave anyone behind me up close so the sensor can pick their car up.

Oh man! I wish, I wish, I wish... :judge:

And then the double-digit IQ, mouth-breathers just look at you uncomprehendingly like you're from Mars.

TL <--- gotta start leaving my Martian suit at home when on the bike

I just go on red if clear after it cycles twice....actually I think they even changed the law here in MN allowing motorcycles to do so....I could be wrong though.

agreed 110%. i don't know what the fine or action is for getting a ticket while driving using a cell phone is in california.. but regardless, the ticket should be just like a normal (traffic) one where you get a point on your driving record and have to go to traffic school to remove it. no slap on the wrist for this, enough is enough already...

another one.. people who walk around barefooted in public places.

hey richy, hopefully soon :D

BigAl3...oh, man...I want one so badly. I have been talking with the dealer principle here. He thinks they're gonna land in about 70 G's Canadian. That's 20G's more than the Genesis. I can't afford that. Besides, the Genesis (2011 model) has 3.9% on it right now. The Equus of course, won't have any interest rate deals on it. I'm getting very tempted to pull the trigger on a 2011 V-8 Genesis sedan. I spent $200 on the Infiniti today and as I was pulling out of the dealer lot, the power seat started to act up!!

the genesis sedan is no slouch either. i've seen a black one with tint and a wing badge on the trunk (intead of the H) and it looked hella clean (no front license plate which i like as well). they even offer the wing badges for the center caps on the wheels as well. both the genesis coupe and sedan are very nice! :)

I'm sure I have a pretty long list, but BigAl's littering and this one from bigpoppa are pretty good ones. That last one is just very perplexing to me...why with countless empty spaces would anyone deliberately choose to park next to another car.

You nailed it on this one! This drives me nuts!

But you got me thinking. These particular fruit loops that do this must have a peeve of there own. They must hate all of us that spread our cars out across the lot. They must like a certain kind of order that involves no empty spaces between cars. Then again maybe they see that we are the type that will go to any length not to hit another car with our door. So they are thinking "I'll park here and that's one side of my car I won't have to worry about".

I rarely take my Sky to work but when I do I've got a spot right in front of my window where I can see her and my Buddy parks his SUV next to me so I can ride right up on the yellow line next to him and leave plenty of space on the other side.

Idiots on bicycles who think they are a car. Excuse me, but get the heck out of my way. I'm coming thru :driving:

Another good one! Are humans the only creatures that don't know better then to get out of the way when something bigger then them is moving toward them?

1.when my gf's friends snatch my phone from my hands and rummage throw my txts. email. once had my work schedual messed up on it.

2. when at shows people lean on our car

3.seinors (not trying to put down seinor citizens. this is hi school)

3. bad drivers

4.when i takes a hour to get my frappeicino at Starbucks

+1 for the above two.

Seriously. Whenever I am in the car with someone and I see someone in my lane on their bike, I always joke and tell them that I'm gonna stick a broom out the window when I drive by and wack em'! Whats worse is the clowns that ride their bike in the middle of the road when there is a freaking sidewalk next to the road! :cursing: GTFO of the road!

You've gotta be careful admiring some of the scenery those spandex riding shorts provide from that angle. Nothing worse than doing a full oogle and when you look back from the front seeing a guy with a bushy beard. :banghead:

TL <--- not that it's ever happened to me :Innocent:
