Perma Plate

I got a little care kit with the 'Vette the other day. "PermaPlate." Of course, I dunno just how good it is or anything, haven't tried it... just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this.

When we bought our car 4 years ago, we had PermaPlate applied. It's one of those sealants your dealer tries to get you to put on your car that "guarantees" you from waxing your car for years. We had it put on because it was cheaper to buy the car that way (don't want to get into it). My assumption is that your dealer applied it on your car and gave you the kit that's supposed to maintain it. From what I remember, it's not as good as Zaino. I only had it on the car for a few days before I stripped everything off. You can always try it on another car to see if you like it first. :nixweiss

No, actually, I'll be taking it in one of these days to get them to apply their "miracle stuff" on the car.

In all honesty, I'll probably be using Klasse on it soon after, anyway. Might as well not bother with it. But, on the list, the option that included this also included a tire/rim guarantee (as in, if a rim is damaged by potholes / objects in the road, they'll take care of it). So, it was really more for that than their "appearence protection package."

Okay, I get it. Mine was part of the "protection package". Anyway, good luck with it. And if you need any information, here's their website: Perma-Plate
