Perfect-It II #39002

I was at an outlet store yesterday that buys stuff in bulk and resells it. I walk in the door and they have a display set up of new arrivals with a big sign that says 3M Car Wax $1.99. I was like humph- If I could only read spanish. It was all in spanish except the 3M Perfect-It and the part #39002. I didnt know what it was until I got home and did a search for it. 16oz bottles. They must have had about 75 bottles of this stuff. I'm debating about going back and getting a couple. I'll just strip the label off =). Well, the place was called Wall's. I dont know where they are except in Mississippi that I know of. They're usually located in old WM buildings.

Thanks for looking it up Ben. I looked it up earlier today. Thank God I got the part #! There was a TON of it on the shelf. They sell 1 1/4 gallon of TWPUG car wash for $5. Thats alot of soap! I'll go buy there friday and pick up a couple of bottles.

Unless they've changed it, it *is* the one with silica-based abrasives, so wear the appropriate mask (not just the paper dust masks that only stop big particles). It's good stuff (by hand or machine), but marred paint isn't something to die over ;)



Follow up with something milder as it won't quite leave a ready-to-wax finish.



Despite the above caveats, that's a steal of a price for a very good product. Good find, Cooter :xyxthumbs
