Pearl Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo

I detailed this car last week and got done just before it rained, so I only have 1 outside shot (which doesn't do it justice) and the rest are taken in the showroom. I will try to take some more pictures the next nice sunny day.

The pearl paint on this car looks absolutely insane in the sunlight. It's kind of a yellow/ orange flip-flop. Just so you all know, the wheels are a graphite color so they are not dirty! The paint was in fairly decent shape, but you could see minor scartches & swirls in the clearcoat.

My process:

Washed complete exterior

Cleaned wheels, tires & wheel wells

Detailed engine compartment

Buffed hood with IP using cutting pad

Buffed complete exterior with Optimum Polish

Hand application of Werksttatt's Prime to complete exterior & wheels

Hand application of Acrylic Jett

Hand application of S100

Dressed tires & wheel wells w/Super Blue Dressing

I've begun to live vicariously through your detailing since this season is slow for me ;).

Great work.

Sean, you should come to Boston.

I've got plenty of cars around to detail!

The paint looks incredibly wet...especially for a lighter color! :)

Seems like the Werkstatt twins are working out well for you.

Oh yeah, saw a yellow one today at QT getting gas. He left before I had time to walk over and ask who details it for him. Definitely didn't look as nice as the one you posted though, Rick. ;)
