Pearl paint help

I searched the archives but couldn't find anything that specifically dealt with the relative quality of MF applicators. My question is, has anyone tried more than one brand and, if so, do they have an opinion as to which is the better product? I note that the Viper MF applicators are an 80-20 blend, not the more highly regarded 70-30.

Thanks ... WH

Can only speak for the one I have tried which is CMAa and it is pretty nice like a nutria pillow. The color is ugly but I will survive.

I feels the need to buy more MF stuff.

I was looking for recommendations on what steps I should take on my 1994 Thunderbird SC with pearl white paint. Right now the exterior has been somewhat neglected. No oxidation but slight swirl marks throughout. The finish has no real pop or depth.

I order the Porter Cable DA polisher and pads but overwhelmed by what I'm finding on the internet as far as products go. This car is now garage kept and rarely driven.

So far I washed and clayed the car. looking for recommendations from this point. Swirl removal, polish, glaze, and sealant.

Thanks

Thanks for the information.

Is the "Megs 105/205 Menz 85rd and Collinite 845" apply to most colored cars?

I'm planning on detailing my wifes red Ford Freestyle as well. The paint is in pretty good condition. Besides not being as aggressive with the 105, anything I may want to change up for the red color?

Thanks again, great informative site.

I seconded, you thirded! :judge:;)

Yes, these products will work very well with all colors. The Collinite 845 works particularly well on white though. On the red car, I would use BFWD.
