PC with DACP + Yellow Pad

Hi everyone,



I relatively new to using the PC and need help with basic questions.



If the surface has swirls caused by improper compounding, can the swirls be removed if I use PC properly with Meguiars DACP (Dual Action Cleaner Polish) using Meguiars yellow sponge pad (recommended for DACP)?



After this step, can I proceed straight waxing, or do I still need to use a less abrasive prdt such as Meguiars Speed Glaze or Swirl Free polish with the PC.



Overall, can the PC be used (with whatever products and pads) to remove moderate swirls?



I'm thinking of buying the PC but need answers to the above beforehand.

go 83 yellow pad, then 80 yellow pad, then wax



and yes the PC works just fine....just takes longer than a rotary

When you say yellow pad, are you referring to Meguiar's Yellow Pad (forgot the no.) that's normally recommended to be used with DACP?

Meguiar's yellow = 8006



Meguiar's tan = 9006



It is difficult to say whether a combination of product and pad will remove certain defects without a test. You may want to try Meguiar's #80 Speed Glaze first. This less abrasive product may be enough.
