PC Users...which color pad do you find yourself using the most.....

Just out of curiousity i find myself doing a lot of one step corrections. This is usually because i have no free time, i'm still learning, and i do this as a hobby and don't typically charge for the work. Many times a buddy with a car will stop by on a saturday (my only day off from work) and we'll spend around 3-4 hours on his car.

I find myself with most polishes such as SIP, 203, SSR2.5, and Uno typically doing a one step refresher with an ORANGE pad. I honestly can't remember when i used anything else....except black/blue/red for applying wax.

but for polishing....it's almost always orange. I typically use 2 to get over the whole car and most often it's the only thing i need.

What color pad to you guys find yourself using the most?

Thanks.

I like the Sonus yellow 4 inch pad for compounding and LC white for polishing with a PC. Anything softer and I get subpar results.

How do people feel about the Cyan and Tangerine Hydro-Tech pads? I think the Cyan is replacing orange for me.

I love the LC green light cutting pad for a one step.

For single-step work via PC I probably use the 4" Cyclo green foam more than anything else. Not that I do a whole lot of single-step work via PC. I simply can't get a finish I like when I single-step with orange :nixweiss Choosing between leaving more (deep) flaws and the overall finish/gloss, I'd rather leave more RIDS.
