PC sounds?

Hey guys!

just got my PC 7424 today...as i turned the little sucker on i noticed that it kinda has a funny sound to it...sound like a cross btw a small vacuum and a kind of fast knocking sound. i'm not sure if i described the sound correctly, but is this sound normal? just wanted to ease my worries b4 i start working on my car! thx!
 
I think I know what sound you're talking about, and mine makes the same noise. I haven't had any problems with it though. I don't think it's anything out of the ordinary.
