PC + SFX-2 (again) = whoops? $$ ? (do I see clouding)

After I finished sealing the Sport Trac with Zaino, in direct sunlight I could see what can only be described as a very light haze or cloudiness to my finish. Now, I know Ford's paint isn't the best, but I assume this one falls onto my shoulders.

The paint look I am describing is not visible in indirect light (as the sun set, the finish looked perfect) nor typical garage lighting. However, like I said, when the sun shined on it, it seemed like the clarity of the paint wasn't what I remember.

I used my PC set at 3-4, started slow, and did the technique of 2x2 back and forth, up and down, like in the Detailing Guide. When I checked it, it looked fine. However, all this came to light (lucky me) just in time when I was finished and trying to admire my work.

I did a search for paint burns, and I don't believe that is it (all the posts seem to say that a PC can't burn). I thought I should use SFX-3, but the SFX-2 bottle says it restores paint to the as-new gloss.

Therefore, where did I go wrong? Did I go wrong? Is Ford's paint just horrible (don't get me started on the orange peel or the very tiny tiny white specs in direct light - Ford really makes a quality black clearcoat finish) and a good buffing brought out this crappy paint? Or did I do an oops and should prepare for a visit to a detailer? And if so, what will need to be done and how much will this one set me back?

If it's expensive, keep an eye for a PC, some Sonus polishes (only one opened!), and many other items on the swap and sell area. As I said in a PM to a detailer, sometimes I need to let the pro's handle a pro's job...

SFX-2 Pad (White) with the SFX-2 polish.

I'd estimate I let the PC work on each 2x2 for about 3 minutes before removal. As I increased speed, the swirls got closer and closer, and the polish all but disappeared to a very faint haze. I then removed it. For the stubborn polish (seems to be a SFX quality), I'd spritz a little Z-6 and wipe.

Could the Z-6 have hazed under the Z-5?
