As long as what you're doing (rotary, PC, hand, whatever) works OK for you then all is well IMO. The only reason I can see for somebody like Slickery to bother with a PC (or perhaps a Cyclo ) would be if they got rotary holograms or had some other problem for which the PC/Cyclo/RO might be an ideal solution. Otherwise- not broke, don't fix.
