PC not available at lowe's?

My PC took a poop in the middle of a detail this past week so i decided to go to Lowe's and buy a new one. After searching for twenty minutes i asked one of the employees to do a search on the computer by model number and manufacturer, which turned up interesting results.

The computer said that they, nor any of the ten other surrounding lowe's, carry PC 7336's anymore. I don't know if they consider it obsolete or what not, probably not a good seller but whatever it is they don't carry them anymore. And before anyone asks its not that they were out, the computer said no availability, and it didn't even carry a SKU anymore.

In light of this i need a new PC, does anyone know of the best place to buy a PC right now, online or retail store. I don't need any packages, just the PC. I haven't been on autopia for months so i forgot all the sites.

Thanks for the help.

I bought mine from Meg's, I paid around $100 for it. Cheapest I've seen online. Comes with a LIFETIME warranty. That's why I bought it. :xyxthumbs

I bought mine near X-Mas he had em on sale for $120 I think...

Meguiars

STILL the best price out there.. a PC w/ lifetime warranty for under $150..

Also comes with backing plate and a pad. Check around for G-100 D/A maybe other places have them without the backing plate and pad, which should yield a cheaper price.

Well, there have been several threads about Lowe's closing PC's out at ridiculously low prices, so it's no surprise they are not carrying them anymore.

Wow, you're right. I just looked on the lowe's website, and they don't list it anymore. Oh well.

ebay has them for 99$ +8$s&h.

its from a ebay seller, not an auction. like 40 available.

just the 1year PC warrenty though i think.

Where do you get the megs one serviced at. I'm guessing you probably have to ship it in and pay for shipping for both directions.

I should have bought a couple when they were on sale for 80. Too late now.

check ou the Ridgid unit that Home Depot sells. It has a 6 inch backing plate, 2 orbit sizes, and a 10,000 OPM range. Try it out and if you don't like it return it.
