PC help with my new ride!

Hey guys..I have been a lurker for a while here. I bought myself a PC last year along with a nice collection of Wolfgang pads. I detailed my E46 M3 with the PC.

First Clay Barred, PC'd..using Meguiars SR 2.0 and an orange Wolfgang pad. I then used Meguiars machine glaze #7 (White pad) I think..Then put a nice coat of NXT on it by hand. For my first detail I thought it looked great.. I very nice results. The PC is worth the money and it took out most of the swirls. The car was in nice condition and didnt require much.

On to this year... Sold the M3...wanted to get a nice DD..Bought a 2005 Mercedes ML350 (Black) from a family member. Car has is mechanically fantastic but my family member took it through the automatic wash a lot (She always wanted a clean car lol).... . Car is in Michigan and I am picking it up this week to bring it down to FL. No major dings or big gashes....but jeez it looks hazy with lots of automatic car wash marks...All over. I am prepared for a 2 day detail next Sat-Sun. I am getting my products around and was wondering what pad I need to get moderate swirls out of the paint. I have a bottle of fine cut cleaner (Meguiars) I was going to use (Orange pad), then follow up with SR 2.0 on a different orange pad..then start working on the shine with #7

Clay bar first of course.

Is there a special pad I should use to work on the swirls??..I have the velco backing pad that works with wolfgang.

Ordering some more Leatherique for the leather as we speak..Any new products you guys can reccomend to get this black benz looking good?

Warm regards,

Joe in Jacksonville!

Well I ordered some Menzerna PO83 Super Intensive Polish (PO85RD3.02). I heard its good for deep swirls.. I will get it a shot on PC 6!

I would use orange pad with SIP then follow up with 106FF white pad on speed 6, then do a 50/50 wipe down and check your work.
