Guys check my system if you do not mind. I am going to detail my 2000 Honda prelude tomorrow morning. It is a Black Nighthawk in color. Basically Black with a blue pearl clear. Nice color when it is clean. It has moderate swirls (i was not as careful in the wash phase as I should have been).

I have a PC and orange 4 inch edge pads.

Wash

Clay TW Liquid clay

Rinse and dry

Zaino swirl and scratch remover with orange 4 inch pad

Zaino swirl remover white pad

Z-5 with ZFX 2 layers

Z-2 with ZFX 1 layer

Zaino detail spray between each layer

What do you think? I will try and post pics if my wife shows me how to upload them.

I recently detailed a 2002 Accord in Nighthawk Black Pearl that was in terrible condition. I ended up using SIP with a 4" orange pad, followed by 106 on a white pad, and finally FPII on a blue pad and it turned out great! The paint is VERY soft, so keep that in mind. I'm not sure how well the Zaino S&S works because I have never used it. What other polishes do you have on hand?

I have danase pure polish, but as far as swirl removers the Zaino is all I have. On my mustang (also black) it worked well but it was in pretty good shape. I am trying to figure out some polishes to keep on hand but finances are coming into play. New wife, new house but I will get there soon.
