He is a product I've been using on my tires and moldings...
While not automotive based, it is, in my opinion, the best product I have EVER used for its purpose.
Designed for the rubber, pneumatic de-icing boots on the leading edge of the wings on small to medium size Aircraft, you know it can stand up to the worst you can throw At it...500mph speeds, rain, ice, sleet, snow, sub-zero temps, etc...
Applied with a small sponge applicator, moving in one direction only, the product goes on wet and shiny, so you know if you missed any areas.
Easily wiped off if you get it on any painted surfaces, before it dries.
Let it stand for 5 or 10 minutes, and reapply another coat or two...
Builds up like a wax or sealant for a deeper "black" and completely dries to a dry, non-greasy finish.
It is rather pricey, and certainly not an OTS product, but a little goes a long way...
They claim the product lasts up to 6 months in service on Aircraft, so I expect at least the same durability on my tires and trim.
Here is a pic of my cutesy Fiesta 16's with 3 coats of PBS on the rubber and 2 coats of Poorboys wheel sealant on the rims.
Note it isn't an overly glossy finish, but a natural, new, clean looking glow to .
