PB Bold N' Bright vs. PB Trim restorer

Can I use Bold N' Bright on exterior trims?? It doesn't mention it. Will it be very shiny on exterior trim?? But if I use Trim restorer will it look too dull on tires and just right for exterior trim??

I only use Trim restorer to renew dried out plastics or to remove wax residue then I follow up with the Bold n' Bright. Its similar to Armor All, a tad more matte and it lasts longer. If you want the best deep matte look maybe you should try his Natural Look...

You mean Bold n' Bright is similar to Armor All?? If they're similar I'd rather get Armor All, I can get it anywhere. Maybe I'll order Natural Look too from Premium Auto Care to try out??

It's been a very long time since I even considered using Armor All and I think that Bold N Bright is far superior. I also use Natural Look for the interior and like it very much.

I don't have PB's Trim Restorer product, but do have and use Bold 'n' Bright and Natural Look. I use Bold 'n' Bright on wheel wells and tires. I apply to the tires with an old terry towel and the the final look is matte and very black. In the wheel wells when applied with an old pancake style yellow applicator, the finish is just more glossy than matte. I prefer Bold 'n' Bright over Armor All for ease of application and B'n'B seems to attract dust/dirt by a noticeable margin.



I initially used Natural Look on the tires in addition to the interior. I liked the look, but with the addition of Bold 'n' Bright to the kit, I reserve the Natural Look for the interior. In addtition to a pleasant and not overpowering scent, Natural Look leaves the dash and door panels with a factory new appearance. The best test has been on my F-i-L's '96 T-Bird which is non-garaged and has no window tint.

Yep, I like Natural Look on the interior, and Trim Restorer on the exterior. I've heard that TR on tires follwed by B & B is great. Waiting for the weather to break to try that out!

I used Armor All one wash, then Bold n' Bright the second. They are very similar in consistency, Bold n' Bright is slightly thicker. They both shine about the same, but the Bold n' Bright lasts somewhat longer and seems to attract less dust.



BUT, Bold n' Bright costs at least twice what Armor All does. To me, a spray dressing like that goes so fast anyways...

That's why I said I may consider Armor All. Some of you said Armor All is harder to apply but how much harder?? Is Natural Look a dressing or a cleaner (for interior vinyl)?? How long does B&B last and can it be use as a exterior trim dressing?? How much more dust does B&B attracts compare to Armor All?? Sorry for all the questions

I love the Natural Look for the interior but for outside it doesnt really hold up very well at all.

I put BnB and/or Naural Look on a rag and wipe on. How long does it last? Come on...you know that's up to all the conditions...how often driven, rain/snow/dust etc. Just get some and try it. I did....I like it. Maybe you won't like it but it won't be the first product you've tried and decided you won't use in the future. Come to think of it, it seems to me that my bottle has lasted for quite a while. I spray it on a very cheap wash mitt that I use for the wheels and wheel wells only. I've got the mitt tied to an old window ice scraper so it will reach into the wheels wells without getting "stuff" all over me or my sleeves....AND I don't have to bend over so far. That's important when you have bad knees.....and/or you are old. :sosad

Armor All, with it's foaming aerosol dispenser, delivers (IMO) the product in a less controlled manner. Without plenty of clearance in the wheel wells it is more difficult to control where it goes and where it doesn't.

Yes and yes. Steve (Poorboy) has posted here that NL contains small amounts of PDs and thus does act as a cleaner.

We had corrected that statement quite a while ago,



Natural Look does have cleaners but no PD's



but Trim Restorer does have a small amount of PD's and is intended for exterior trim. If directions are followed and the trim is buffed after drying, there will not be streaking after rain or washings.



P.S. ...Jim it will soon be coming in gallon size too.

C-MDX I think you misunderstood me, I meant the B&B attracts LESS dust than Armor All. Ease of application also goes to B&B because it spreads easier, doesn't streak whereas Armor All being thinner can streak somewhat (i realized my mistake in the earlier thread, B&B is thicker I just fixed it)



Its been probably 300 miles and the B&B is still on there...

Sorry about that I guess I missed the reformulation notification. When did that take place? I have purchased Natural Look on 2 separate occasions; just curious.



I based my statement on this thread (a year old this month...my memory is rarely that long ). Natural Look

Based on your statement then,

Can it be removed...sure but I think you'd have to buy an awful lot of it.
