Process:

Wheel's/Tire's/Wheel Well's - Megs WB, Degreaser on tires and in wells.

Everything scrubbed. Tires, trim and wheel-wells dressed with

Opti-Bond via Wagner Control Spray Gun.

Foam - DP Extreme Foam

Wash - Megs Shampoo Plus

Clay - Megs

Tried SIP with Orange CCS and got no where (temps were low)

Tried M105/OP with Orange and got somewhere (easier to work),

but was getting alot of marring. I decided to try SIP/White and that did the trick.

The paint wasn't as hard as I thought it was. So:

SIP with White CCS via Flex

PO106FF with Blue CCS via Flex

PO83 with Blue CCs via Flex

UPGP x2 by hand

Great Work Man. Rims kill the whole car though. What's the point of having a hummer if it can't even handle a pot-hole.:down

Workwise, you hit a home run! SIP can be a bit finicky on pad choice as I found out the hard way as well.

I've got still too much leftover Megs polishes/compounds and do not think I'll ever use 105.

Funny thing, people are finding that Zaino ZPC does a real nice job in removing maring and bringing it to a very fine finish. That too has to be match to the correct pad to work well, but it works very well. You can go straight to finish LSP.

Wheels? too small for the Hummer. It needs much larger wheels. Looks like the wheels belong on some other rice'd out car.

Deanski

Deanski: They are 24" wheels lol.

Scott: I got the Car sunday morning and finished up Monday afternoon. Had a family dinner to attend Sunday afternoon so it cut into it. I'd say 10 hours total.

Must be hard polishing the hood and roof on such a big car.. need some kind of mission impossible gear hanging from the ceiling :P

Yeah, Im just curious what you did for the roof and such..ive always imagined how hard it would be, i have no done a large suv yet. Tall cars are hard enough!
