Wow awesome job. Anyone who lets a Mach1 get into that condition should be shot. Great correction.

nice job

not a mach 1 tho, its a v6 stang with a mach 1 tag...

Looks like a mach1 to me. Shaker hood, matte strip and wing. The only thing questionable is the 40th anniv emblems..as mach1s come with the ponys.

what he said:). The car looks great though!

Nice job and that is a Mach 1. It has the right exhaust, chin spoiler, striping, hood w/shaker, wheels, everything is right on it. IIRC the 40th emlbems could come on ANY 2004 Mustang, and the Mach 1 was produced in '03 and '04 so those emblems are likely stock as well. Why wouldn't it be a Mach 1?

Again, very nice job on the detail, that thing was nasty.

No guys your all wrong its a V6.:har:

Agreed. Just a very convincing fake. Look at the suspension on that thing. Looks like it's ready for off-roading. Always the easiest way to spot a fake since most Mustang owners tend to think their cars don't need suspension modifications. That exhaust is hanging really low too, tell tale sign of an aftermarket installer.

I seriously think thats a mach 1. What are the differences? The ride height on that thing just looks like any other mach 1 that Ive seen and so is the front bumper.

Front bumper of a stock mach 1

stock height

exhaust hangs the same height

what am I missing here??

I really don't know WTH ya'll are smoking.

The car is a 2004 Mach 1; black...

The 40th anniv. badges were standard an ALL production Mustangs in 2004; EXCEPT for the Cobra.

Note that the Shaker hood; 13" front brakes with PBR calipers; rocker stripes and matte black rear spoiler; along with 3" rolled edge exhaust tips were all part of the Mach1 package. The chin spoiler; wheels and C-panel sails are also unique to the car. The Cpanels are cut at a harder angle to align harder with the door scoop angle and were originally created for the 2001 Bullitt model.

The Mach only sat marginally lower than a standard production GT as well.

As far as the exhaust "hanging low"; keep in mind that the exhaust exits fairly straight and parallel to the ground; whereas the rear bumper cover/valance is quite rounded and actually upswept a bit at the bottom; causing your eye to perceive the exhaust to be pointed down when it in fact isn't.

Get your facts straight before calling a real Mach a "fake".

EDIT: BTW; I'm sure you're kidding GTPaul :grinno:
