Here are some great ones:

"Do not argue with an idiot.

He will drag you down to his level and

beat you with his experience."

"Light travels faster than sound.

That is why some people appear bright

until you hear them speak."

"If I agreed with you ,

we'd both be wrong."

"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit.

Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad."

"I didn't say you were wrong,

I said you weren't correct."

"You are never too old to learn

something stupid."

"When tempted to fight fire with fire,

remember that the Fire Dept usually uses water."

Are you so neurotic that you think that everything I say is a veiled insult? Not at all, just an attempt to share thoughtful information.

The great Buddha once said when one of his students observed him acting passively to people who were hurling nasty comments at him:

"Oh great Buddha why do you stand there and allow these people to insult you without saying anything in reply?"

Buddha's wise response: "My son, an insult is like a gift you have the option of accepting it or refusing it."

However, in this case, Charlie there was never any attempt to insult anyone by my post, it is only how you take it.

And, by the way I have read Dale Carnegie's book many times. But I find the New Testament a much greater and more meaningful book. Especially like Jesus' admonishment that when someone strikes you on the cheek turn the other to him.

Thoughtful information pertaining to what? Yet again you've failed to think about how you're coming across before posting, and given that your pattern here has been to incite discord in the community it is near impossible to interpret this as anything other than professional grade trolling.

The best piece of advice I can give you, which sadly I know you will ignore, is this:

Before you post something, take yourself away from it first and read it from the perspective of a recipient. If there is even the remotest possibility that it could be interpreted in an unintended manner (such as a veiled insult) then DON'T POST IT. At least try to re-word it so you're not being seen as constantly and consistently rude to (or about) people.

I think that's about enough; I'm tired of wasting time and brain cells feeding the troll... no more.

Sorry I do not agree with you. If you don't like what I post ignore it. Why do you feel it is your responsibility to monitor every post I make?

A psychologist could really do something with that kind of behavior.

Just try ignoring my posts

You came across pretty even until you threw that in. Even if SLD was taking things personally(called for or not) before, you just made it personal.

Just sayin'...(carry on gentlemen :D)

I truly admire & respect both of your views and credibility, but I think it's time you guys take advantage of the ignore feature in the settings control panel.

David, I think they should just get it over with and kiss. :D

That would be great(in a non-gay way), but I think it's a stretch. I have total respect for both of them, I just don't think it helps the forum to keep going at it like this.

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :funnypost

Like I said, I'm done feeding you, troll. Just know this: I feel sad for you, Bud. Sad that you feel the need to conduct yourself in the manner in which you do when you have such great potential to be a source of valuable industry-related information.

Just a damned unfortunate case.

Oh, it's been blatantly personal for a while now. He has specifically called me out a number of times now, including this thread:

I'm not even dignifying him with a reply on that one.

Could not agree with you more, David!
