paint protection film (clear bra) repair

anyone ever try this method for repairing PPF? i've heard about it, but haven't been brave enough to try it.

Never had the problem with my clear bra.. and it's almost 3 years old.

Yeah when I was getting my windows tinted by a guy around here who uses venture shield I asked him to clear bra my phone screen and he said no prob. Then he proceeded to dig his finger nail into the film, and I was thinking "*** are you doing?!?!" There was a visible dent in the film, then he rubbed it fast enough to create the friction/heat and it disappeared. I was like :shocked
