Paint feeling

The Rainmaker
While I was at my friends body shop/car lot today rotating my tires and checking the condition of my brakes, 6 people stopped in.
Every one of them had to feel the paint on the Montana and every one said the same thing, "Oh, I'm sorry, but I wondered if the paint was as slick as it looked".
FWIW, it is. :)
My friend apologized, but then he had to feel it as well. :D
That was the white Montana minivan. Not exactly an eye catching vehicle.
Considering it was at least a month since I last applied any LSP and it had only had S&W washes, it made me think I must be doing something right.

Oh yeah, the brakes are still over 50% after a little over 49,000 miles. :bigups

People can't help it...lol
But isn't it a great feeling that people actually want to.

I know I check mine. :D

People do that to my murano especially when I tell them its 4 years old...its almost as if they expect to rub there finger on it and for there to be wet paint on their hands

I get that a lot with my jet black BMW...yesterday I had two guys looking at the car as the wife and I came out of a grocery...of course I'm parked in the back forty...They asked if I had the car repainted...nope!

Handed them my card:D

A testament to good car care is all it is Charles!

My in-laws think I'm nutz for what I do to my car but they always are impressed with the slick feel of the paint.
Then I have to get there finger prints off.
