Looking for a paint chip repair kit that I say on TV the other day. It was on an auto show...two guys garage, etc....Anyways, it had compound, polish, and some sandpaper and the foam pads...The cool thing is that it had a holder where the bottom was about the size of a quarter. The foam pads were the same size...It had a velcro bottom...I can't seem to find it anywhere. If anyone knows where I can find it...Please post the link. It looked perfect for fixing small chips

No, that isn't it...The piece that you hold with your hand is like this but it is only about 1 inch in diameter. It came with a cutting and polishing pad, fine sand paper, and the compound and polish.

I am sure that it is 3m that sell that small little handy thing you speak of.
cannot for the life of me remember the name of it, and i am too lazy today to go and search for you,,LOL
But i am at least 99% sure it is from 3M.

Good luck in your quest..

Old post but I ran across it while looking for some info on Langka. The kit that the original poster is looking for is the Norton Kit. They use it on Dream Car Garage.

GTScott...Thanks for the update. I have bookmarked the website.

That's a lot of work to go through for paint chip repair. Langka is ok but it's a lot of time and effort, plus you gotta use your own paint and wait for it to dry. Check out Dr Colorchip (drcolorchip.com ) for an easy way to fix stone chips. My bro details cars and he has their full system to use on his detail customer cars but they sell 1 color touchup kits. Not sure of cost. I haven't tried that kit, but my brother painted about 100 chips on my 01' Accord and it looks awesome. It took him about 15 minutes. He did it a year and a half ago and the paint is still in the chips. There's no spraying or sanding so he can use it anywhere short of the north pole maybe.

Looks interesting. Pricey at $38 ($30 + $8 shipping) compared to the auto parts store touch up paint, but well worth the money if it does the job.
So who's gonna be the one to try it? :whistling
