pages are jump-scrolling when i load them

i'm on Safari 5.1.5 on Mac OS 10.6.8.

Everytime a page loads, or reloads, it scrolls do the bottom, almost like it's forcing me to view an ad down there. Sometimes it scrolls to the middle of a page.

I am on Windows with Chrome.



For me, the page reformats at least two times as the ads (banner and others) load but seems to do it less dramatically now - the side ads are now smaller.

I get the same "jump scrolling" when viewing on the ipad...no issue when viewing on my PC with firefox

Yeah no issues from my computer...but when browsing from my phone is jump scrolls badly.

When a page loads, even the same page refreshed, I see the main discussion load and format first then the side ad appears causing the discussion area to resize then the banner ad shows up and the Facebook plug in comes third. In each case the already formatted screen reformats slightly.



I looked at it on firefox with No script running and there are at least 6 &java$cript& programs trying to run (facebook, scorecardresearch, google stuff, skimresources, img-cloushost, kontera). If I disable &java$script&, it loads with less formatting but not formatted correctly.

Mine started perhaps Friday... I think it was because you had one of those ads on the bottom of the page that was dancing and whatnot.



It may have had something to do with the fact that there was one at the top of the page and another at the bottom.



I don't know how all the coding affects this stuff. But, I have no dancing ads on my screen today, and the page loads perfectly now.
