Pad cleaning via Air Compressor... need some help

Does this Craftsman compressor run on 120v or 220v electricity ?

If none of your needs ever exceed 5- SCFM's, then with the storage tank capacity, you should be great to go !

You would probably want to put it on its own dedicated electrical circuit if possible. If you have room in your power panel, find out what brand of breakers are in there, and go buy a 20amp breaker for it, unless, its a 220v where you will have to buy a dual breaker set up, and a dual breaker takes up 2 spaces in the power panel.

You may also want to think about mounting hard air lines or hose around your garage, so all you have to do then is bring out your custom made hose with whatever attachment you want to have on the end and jack into the hard line already on the side of the garage wall/s..

I did this a few times in a few garages in the past, and its absolutely the best way to have less clutter and only 1 airline on the floor at any time.

You can even use this set up to totally blow out a ton of dirt, etc., out of vehicle interiors, engine compartments, trunks, mats, and totally speed up the vacuum process.. :)

She's a brute! Good choice. They used the larger motor on a smaller tank. It puts our a good amount of continuous volume and ample pressure, and the tank size is a good size. Price is $379 as far as I can find, so also check Home Depot to see what they've got for comparison. This particular model is $50 more than its big brother, which uses the same motor but a larger 33 gallon tank.

The only thing I would strongly recommend is that you stop by Sears and have them plug it in and fire it up so you can hear it. Even if they don't have the same model, they will have one their that uses the same motor and basic build, so you can get a good idea of how loud it is. They let me do it, and the low sound level of the one I bought sold me on it.

Do you have a price limit? With that, and knowing if you plan on taking it off-site, I can look around a little more.

I also like that one Fermani listed for its size.

Just wanted to chime in and mention a few things...

Unfortunately, Sears ran a Friends and Family 10% off discount this past Sunday. But, there should be a Midnight Madness sale this Sunday after 4 P.M. The discount probably won't be 10%, but it will probably be around 5% off.

If you would like, I can look up the pricing schedule for the rest of the month and send it to you.

As far as impact wrenches go, please don't get the $20 cheapo. If you do, get the replacement agreement because you're probably going to need it... The composite impacts are made by IR and perform very well. You may also want to invest in some lug nut safe sockets.
