Here I am a fairly old member of this forum (not BradB gezer old though
and I hadn't even tried some of the better stuff out there. I was ready to take the plunge and purchase Souveran (talk about the better stuff out there) but talked to DavidB before I did so. I asked him about topiing BF with a wax, and he siad he does all the time with Souveran, and loves it. He then whent on to say that if I want to save a considerable amount of money, go check out the S100 wax. This is the same wax as the P21S Concours wax, just at a reduced price of $15. Im not the one to sacrifice quality for a few bills saved but David said that P21S was deveoped by the same chemist as Souveran, and while maybee not exactly the same, its a close second, or "90% of Souveran." And plus at 15 bucks, how could I loose. To sum up, it was a very smart purchase. This stuff is *insert superlative here*. My test car was my bro's 330ci in topaz blue. It recently received a full BF detail, and a few months later, in typical BF fashion, it still looked good but felt squeaky clean. After the wash I grabbed the beatifull plastic jar and whent to town. This stuff really does "wipe on like butter", and after letting it frost for about 20-30 sec, it wipes off even easier. Its main selling point is that it wont stain trim, and there is no false advertizing going on here. I finished in about 15 min. The car looked stunning... it added even more to the BF shine (which is fabulous). It was very refined looking, smooth and wet, and being a carnauba, it brought out that blue like it never had before. After its first wash, with AutoInt's C, mixed down slightly, it kept on stunning me. It lost some slikness, as is expected with a carnauba, but its shine was about 95%. To sum up, go buy this wax if your in need of one, even if you dont think you do. If wax is the icing on the cake, consider this stuff that rich, cream cheese icing that'slathered over a warm Cinnabun....mmmmmmm Cinnabun. Please excuse that Homer Simpson moment. -Bradford H
