P21S or Zymol Ital ?

lbls1- Yeah, "oh well" I guess. I was referring to the Estate Glazes and I figured the high carnauba content they tout would require the body heat.

Heh heh, if I used even less LSP than I do already I might find out what sort of shelf life these products really have (a jar/can of stuff lasts me over a decade in many cases) :D In fact that reminds me- the wax I use on my interior wood was made for Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories by Zymol. I bought it in '85 and there's still a *lot* left.

Heh heh, but then, every time I try something other than Souveran on the Jag it looks "different" and I don't like that so I end up going back to Souveran anyhow (all part of the time-machine effect that car has on me ;) ).

Thanks for getting back to me though. I know you take a got of [grief] over your appreciation of the Zymol stuff so in my mind you're kinda putting on the flame-proof suit every time you post about it.

Bence- I did that with Souveran a few times. Worked OK, wasn't too bad on my hands either. But it didn't really have any advantage that *I* could discern over just using an applicator :nixweiss

Not a problem Accumulator. I say the proof is all in the pudding. I love it when sometimes a Zymol will occasionally post, and then you get the silent "ahhhs" and "Oohs"....j/k. It isn't necessarily the criticism that's bad...as long as you've tried something and have come to a conclusion, good or bad. It is the flow of babble such as "junk" or not "worth it" claims that comes from people who have never even opened a jar of a Zymol.

Zymol isn't for everyone, mainly because of the cost and the fatigue factor. But it will produce, whether many will acknowledge it or not. That is the overwhelming reason why I chose Zymol for Car #1 as opposed to Souveran or a Natty's or a Zai..ok not to flame back. Like every other claim made so far, my choice was a conclusion drawn from experimentation and error. I do wish that they would do something about the outrageous pricing, however.

But...to get off of the zymol fan bus...I also admire the qualities that can be found in other lsp's and polish combinations. I absolutely love how well p21s develops into a razor sharp shine with some moderate applications, backed by good polishes underneath. I may even try some other combos or even do a test between Natty's and p21s just to see how both will respond to daily driving conditions on a different car! Hurry Spring!!

Bence: What purpose would spreading Souveran (sp) with my hands serve? Now I'm curious.....I just might try that!

You are correct. Many have never tried Zymol Handcrafted or Estate waxes. They are IMHO very good waxes. High price yes. But the handcrafted waxes are lower in price than Sourveran.

Thanks friend. You did add a good point. Zymol makes a wide variety of waxes at lower price points that are similar in content with the likes of p21s, pinnacle and maybe a couple of others. On average, though, Zymol's products will still run a bit higher in price than their counterparts. Their products are of high quality IMO.
