Hi,
I'm gonna clay my 1 month old Alfa 156 for the first time this weekend (using claymagic kit). There is a fair amount of contaminants on the paint after washing, so I reckon claying is a good idea.
1) Should I use P21S GEPC after claying ? Any advantages to doing this ? I image as I will be using a resin polish later, that the oils it add will be removed.
2) I plan to apply Autoglym superesin polish & extra gloss protection. As this is a resin, should I wash the car after the P21S, so that bonding can take place properly.
3) Between washing and polishing, how many times do I need to wash the car. So far I have counted 3 times, 4 if I use a SMR prior to polishing. As I can only see the marring under halogens, I might skip the SMR though.
wash and dry
clay car followed by wash and dry
p21s gepc followed by wash and dry
smr followed by wash and dry
autoglym superesin and extra gloss
thx
